The long-standing Disney store in Mississauga will be closing next week, the entertainment conglomerate confirmed on its website.
The company placed a notice that the Square One Shopping Centre, just off Highway 403, will be closing its location on March 23.
The store has been around since 1993, but the company says not to worry, as shoppers can visit another location or shop at the online store.
Earlier this month, Disney said they were planning to significantly reduce stores in a move to have more e-commerce.

The entertainment giant said they’re beginning with the closure of at least 60 stores in North America this year.
The shopDisney platform will be expanded and will have better integration with Disney Parks apps and social media platforms.
“While consumer behaviour has shifted toward online shopping, the global pandemic has changed what consumers expect from a retailer,” said Stephanie Young, president, Consumer Products Games and Publishing, in a statement.
“Over the past few years, we’ve been focused on meeting consumers where they are already spending their time, such as the expansion of Disney store shop-in-shops around the world. We now plan to create a more flexible, interconnected e-commerce experience that gives consumers easy access to unique, high-quality products across all our franchises.”
Disney said guests will continue to have access to shopping experiences in over 600 Disney Parks stores, shop-in-shops, lifestyle and outlet locations, as well as third-party retailers globally.
