Ontario distillery making free hand sanitizer for "essential services" in need

Beamsville-based Dillon’s Distillery is aiding those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic by combining its own alcohol with aloe to create hand sanitizer, to offer for free.

The distillery says that it started offering the hand sanitizer free with purchases in-store and online last week, and the second batch is now available.

Beyond sanitizer for skin, the distillery is also bottling 65% alcohol for disinfecting and sanitizing surfaces. While those bottles don’t have spray nozzles, the producers say that any nozzles users already have on-hand should fit.

Dillon’s is offering these items, at no charge, to any “essential service individual or organization.”

The spot says they have over 1,000 bottles, and those looking to retrieve some can contact [email protected] or call 905-563-3030.
