Toronto police say a victim has been transported to hospital following a daytime shooting on Queen Street West.
According to police, officers received several calls reporting gunshots heard near Queen Street West and Augusta Avenue just after 2 pm on Wednesday.
Police were on scene, and report that an individual was shot, although the severity of the injuries was not known.
The suspect is described as male, in their early 20’s, medium build, wearing a surgical mask and a black hoodie.
Police are investigating.
