Federal Conservative leader Erin O’Toole has tested positive for coronavirus.

The Opposition leader is relieved his wife and children tested negative, according to a tweet from his director of communications Melanie Paradis.

O’Toole has been in self-isolation since Wednesday, when he learned a staffer he was travelling with tested positive for the virus.

The politician and his family were all tested on Wednesday, and apparently just received their test results.

Daily Hive has reached out to the Conservative Party of Canada for more details.
