The CN Tower has completed the first phase of its renovation (PHOTOS)

If you’ve wanted to get all the way up the CN Tower’s SkyPod, here’s your chance to check it out… and for free.

The popular Toronto tower announced it has completed its first phase of its renovation is now complete, and open to the public.

“Phase 1 of our renovation is now open to the public and here’s how it looks,” tweeted the CN Tower on Tuesday. “While we’re still under construction, you can travel 33 storeys higher to SkyPod complimentary, while we finish up Phase 2 of our renos. Come and check out the new space & the awesome views for yourself.”

At a 1,465ft high above the city, SkyPod is one of the highest observation platforms in the world.

Under ideal conditions, visibility is up to 160 km (100 miles) away to Niagara Falls and New York State, according to the CN Tower.

Usually, a separate ticket is required in addition to the Tower Experience ticket to get up there. But for now, you can check it out for free.
