Renting in Toronto is never an easy task, but as the pandemic continues to affect every day life, it’s left a mark on the rental market as well putting pressure on rental prices.

A recent report shows that the average monthly rent in the GTA has declined for the tenth straight month in a row — now down 13%, with units going for just over $2,000.

So if you’ve been looking for the perfect rental, now might just be the right time to look.

While you can still expect virtual apartment viewings, here are five of the “cheapest” rentals, recently listed by Zoocasa, showing places in and around Toronto.
