You can fly from Toronto to Australia for under $850 roundtrip this winter
The folks over at YYZDeals want to make sure you get a chance to check out Australia and they’re making sure you can do it without breaking the bank.
Some Australian flights from Toronto to Melbourne are currently available for $825 roundtrip, tax in. The website also says that flights to Sydney should be available for $900 return.

Flights have one or two connections each way. Some flights require a lengthy layover (10+ hours) and a total travel time of over 24 hours but come on, it’s Australia!
Google Flights show the same flight path for $1,200 to upwards of $2,000 so you’d best get booking if you’re in the mood to go “down under.”
HOW TO SEARCH FOR DATES AND BOOK:
1. Try Google Flights: Toronto to Melbourne, Australia (MEL)
Dates that are $889 roundtrip are showing as early as February
Google Flights: Toronto to Sydney, Australia (SYD)
Dates that are $904 roundtrip are showing in Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jun, Aug, Sep, Nov.
For both, click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations
2. Go to Skyscanner
Search for a flight from Toronto (YYZ) to Melbourne (MEL) or Sydney (SYD) and use the same dates you found on Google Flights.
