7 celebrities to try and spot in Toronto this February

Well love is in the air this February with plenty of celebrity faces to swoon over!

If you love a good celebrity spotting just as much as we do, then you already know that finding out who’s in town is half the battle.

But lucky for you, running into your favourite actor or actress is a lot easier than you think. At any given moment, these celebrities might be wandering the streets of Toronto just waiting to be found working on their next big project.

Here are seven celebrities to try and spot in Toronto this February, and let us know if you happen to see one for yourself!

Bradley Cooper

Be on the lookout for those baby blues because Bradley Cooper may be spotted in the Toronto area this month. Cooper will be in town for his latest role in the movie Nightmare Alley. He is widely known for his roles in blockbuster movies like The Hangover films, Sliver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, and most recently A Star is Born.

Cate Blanchett

Also joining Bradley Cooper on the set of Nightmare Alley is actress Cate Blanchett. Blanchett has starred in movies like The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and Ocean’s 8, among many others. She is recognized as one of the highest-paid actresses in showbiz.

Michael Shannon

Also joining Bradley Cooper and Cate Blanchett on the set of Nightmare Alley is Michael Shannon. Shannon is best recognized for his roles in movies like Revolutionary Road and Nocturnal Animals which he was nominated for an Academy award, or HBO’s Boardwalk Empire.

Jason Momoa

Jason Momoa may be spotted in the city this February. Momoa is in town filming for his latest role in the TV series See which is filming its second season. He is usually best recognized for playing Khal Drogo in the HBO series Game of Thrones, or as Declan Harp from the Netflix series Frontier.

Joining Momoa on the set of See is award-winning actress Alfre Woodard. Woodard has been acting since the 1970’s and has starred in movies and TV shows such as Star Trek: First Contact, Miss Evers’ Boys, 12 Years a Slave, The Forgotten, Luke Cage, and Desperate Housewives among many others.

Sonequa Martin-Green

Sonequa Martin-Green will be in Toronto filming for the third season of Star Trek: Discovery, also going by its code name of Green Harvest.

Martin-Green is best known for her portrayal of Sasha Williams on AMC’s The Walking Dead, along with reoccurring roles in The Good Wife and Once Upon a Time. Recently she starred in the Christmas movie Holiday Rush which was released on Netflix in December.

Doug Jones

Also joining Martin-Green on the set of Star Trek: Discovery is Doug Jones. Jones has starred in movies like HellboyPan’s Labyrinth, Crimson Peak, The Shape of Water, and more. You may not actually recognize him as Jones is known for playing non-human type creatures for most of his roles featuring lots of makeup and special visual effects.
