The hilarious Eugene Levy may be spotted in Toronto this April. Levy is currently filming for season five of the hit show Schitt’s Creek alongside his son Daniel Levy, who also plays Levy’s on-set child in the show. From Hamilton ON, Levy is best known for starring in all-eight of the American Pie films and his groundbreaking work as part of Second City.
Catherine O’Hara
Joining Levy on the set of Schitt’s Creek is actress, writer, and comedian Catherine O’Hara. O’Hara has starred in many movies from Heartburn alongside Meryl Streep, to the voice of Sally in The Nightmare Before Christmas, or maybe you remember her best as Kevin McCallister’s mom in the Home Alone films.
Nina Dobrev
Nina Dobrev will return to her hometown of Toronto to film for her latest role in the feature film Run This Town. Dobrev is best known for playing Elena on The Vampire Diaries, along with films like Let’s Be Cops, The Final Girls, and most recently Flatliners.
Ben Platt
Joining Dobrev on the set of Run This Town is Ben Platt. You may remember him from films like Pitch Perfect, Pitch Perfect 2, and most recently in the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen which won him a Tony Award.
Vanessa Hudgens
Vanessa Hudgens will likely be in Toronto through April for her role in the movie Polar. Hudgens is a singer and actress known for starring in the High School Musical film series, Beastly, and Spring Breakers.
Katheryn Winnick
Joining Hudgens in Toronto for Polar is Canadian actress Katheryn Winnick. Winnick was born right here in Etobicoke, Ontario and has starred in Bones, The Art of Steel, and History Channel’s Vikings in which she currently plays Lagertha.
Mary J. Blige
Mary J. Blige will likely be in Toronto through to mid-July for her role as Cha-Cha in the new series The Umbrella Academy. While Blige is best known for being a famous R&B/Hip-hop artist, she has also starred in a few movies like Rock of Ages, Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All By Myself, and Mudbound.
Ellen Page
Joining Blige on the set of The Umbrella Academy is Canadian actress Ellen Page. Page has starred in feature films like Juno, Whip It, and Inception, along with TV shows like Trailer Park Boys, Pit Pony, and ReGenesis.
Tom Hopper
Also joining these ladies on The Umbrella Academy set is Tom Hopper. Hopper has made appearances in television shows like Doctor Who, Casualty, and Games of Thrones.
Alexis Bledel
Alexis Bledel will be in Toronto this April for season two of The Handmaid’s Tale. Bedel is widely recognized for playing Rory from Gilmore Girls including the reunion mini-series on Netflix, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Elisabeth Moss will also be in Toronto filming for the second season of The Handmaid’s Tale. Moss has starred in television shows like The West Wing, Top of the Lake and Mad Men. Just this past year her role in The Handmaid’s Tail won her a Primetime Emmy Award for outstanding lead actress in a drama series.

This Australian actress will also be in Toronto this April for her role in The Handmaid’s Tale. You may remember her best as Hannah McKay in the hit show Dexter, or as Sarah Walker in the NBC series Chuck.

Sarah Rafferty will likely be in Toronto through to November for her role in the eighth season of Suits. Rafferty has made small appearances in shows like Law & Order, Bones, and Numb3rs before going on to star in Suits as Donna Roberta Paulsen.
Gabriel Macht
Also joining Rafferty on the set of Suits is Gabriel Macht, who plays the lead character Harvey Specter in the series.
Taylor Schilling
Taylor Schilling will be in Toronto this April for her role in the new feature film Descendant. Schilling is best known for playing main character Piper Chapman in Netflix’s hit show Orange is the New Black.

Zachary Levi is currently in Toronto through to May for the lead role in the DC Extended Universe movie Shazam! You may remember him from films like Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, or as the voice of Flynn in the animated movie Tangled.

Hannah John-Kamen will be in the city through to September for season four and five of Killjoys. John-Kamen is probably best known for her role of Ornela in the sixth season of Game of Thrones.
Minka Kelly
Minka Kelly will be in Toronto through April for her role in the series Titans. Kelly got her first major role as Lyla in the television series Friday Night Lights, and then went on to star in feature films like The Roommate, 500 days of Summer, and Just Go With It.
Brenton Thwaites
