It’s time for a Toronto tradition! Alt-country band The Sadies will be delighting the crowd for their annual NYE concert at The Horseshoe Tavern. Put on your best plaid shirt and a pair of boots you could herd cattle in and get ready to party! Tickets will set you back $30 each.

Back In The Day 90s New Year’s Eve

Calling all aging millennials! Do you miss the classic hip hop, rap and pop of your youth? Are you sad about the nearly two decades that now separate us from the end of the glorious 1990s? Well, while the rest of the world is looking to the future this New Year’s Eve, you can turn back the clock at Revival Bar’s fourth annual Back in the Day 90s New Year’s Eve party! Who doesn’t love a 90s theme party? Advanced tickets are $30 each.

Want a New Year’s Eve event that’s family-friendly? Bundle up your brood and take them to Harbourfront Centre for a a skating party featuring popular music you would actually hear on the radio. Don’t forget your mittens, because it gets cold by the lake! Oh, and this event is free so no matter what it’ll be worth the money!

New Year’s Eve at the Moulin Rouge at the Gladstone Hotel

Many millennials grew up thinking Baz Luhrmanm’s movie musical Moulin Rouge was the pinnacle of romance. Did you know the famous Moulin Rouge in Paris and the Gladstone were actually both built in 1889? Well, in honour of this spiritual connection, this New Year’s Eve the Gladstone Hotel will be transformed into the famous French nightclub. Watch burlesque, sip champagne, and soak in all the Francophile goodness. Standard tickets are $75 each but they’re going fast!

New Year’s Eve Party in Nathan Phillips Square

This New Year’s, the government wants you to party. No, seriously, they do! In celebration of the 150th anniversary of confederation, they are footing the bill for an outdoor concert headlined by Juno-awarding winning music act Walk off The Earth. The event features a skating party to boot! Put on your parka and brave the cold to rock out outside on New Year’s Eve.

Want to get a jump on your New Year’s Resolutions? Well, then why not get your cardio in at the MYNEXTRACE.COM Midnite Run? It’s 5 kilometres of aerobic good fun starting at the stroke of midnight, followed by a party including a cash bar and a DJ. Trade your heels for some tennis shoes and head down to Liberty Village for the festivities!
