
Who would have thought Toronto might be the best option for a staycation right now?
While Toronto is basking in the sun and a daytime high of 17°C, snow is hitting Calgary on and off this week.
A look at The Weather Network’s seven-day forecast shows that some significant snowfall is on its way to the city. Already snowfall was reported on Tuesday with Wednesday bringing in some flurries and another centimetre of snowfall mixed in with under 1 mm of rain.
Temperatures continue to drop in Calgary on Saturday with a high of -2°C that feels like -6°C, and a low of -11°C with around 1 cm of snow.
The real snowday will come on Sunday, with roughly 5 cm of snow expected, a high of -3°C that feels like -7°C, and another chilly nighttime low of -11°C.

A look at The Weather Network’s forecast here in Toronto shows that the city will have sun for most of Wednesday with a temperature of 17°C dropping to 13°C at night.
While Thursday shows light showers in the city, the temperature will feel warm with a high of 18°C.
Sunnier weather returns for Friday with temperatures dropping slightly to 12°C. But the bright skies will hold for the weekend with Saturday remaining around 12°C and Sunday with 15°C.
