As spring slowly inches towards summer, one of Ontario’s biggest music festivals has announced it is cancelled this year.
Boots and Hearts said “it is with great sadness” that it announces its cancellation due to the pandemic and the risk of a large-scale event such as the festival.
“We are truly sorry we won’t be able to celebrate BootsLife with you this summer,” said organizers in a statement.
“We are already moving forward with planning for 2021 – the much-anticipated 10th anniversary! We are thrilled to announce Eric Church will be back next year as a 2021 headliner for an unforgettable summer.”
Boots and Hearts said they have multiple options for ticket holders including honouring passes for next year, as well as refunds. Details are available here.
“We’re hanging up our boots for this coming summer but our hearts are with the fans and our entire festival community as we navigate these difficult times,” said the festival.
