Bodega Henriette coming soon to Toronto's east end

Something new is brewing in Toronto’s Upper Beaches neighbourhood.

Coming soon to the Gerrard Street East address, that until recently housed The Corner House Irish Pub, is Bodega Henriette, It’s a new all-day concept from Nicoleh Cheung, the east side impresario already responsible for fun venues such as Betty’s on King, Pacific Junction Hotel, and Eulilie’s Corner Store.

The new spot is about a month out from opening but when it does, look forward to a mini market stocked with essential groceries (milk, eggs, etc.), coffees and fresh pastries in the mornings, sandwiches served over lunch, and a dinner menu complete with cocktails and wine moving into the evenings.

While the menu is still in development, Cheung tells Daily Hive that the menu will be “fresher… less pub food” than her previous ventures.
