Ravenous MLSE fans have something new to get excited about this season.

This season, BMO Field is set to unveil a roster of new concession items to keep soccer fans fuelled as they cheer on the Toronto FC.

Developed by a culinary team helmed by MLSE Executive Chef Matthew Sullivan and Joe Drebit, Chef De Cuisine at MLSE, the indulgences being brought field-side this year are beyond.

Think: slow-braised brisket, caramelized onions, and old cheddar over sweet Hawaiian bread, served alongside kettle chips.

Or, perhaps you’d prefer an iteration of a hot dog, but make it a foot long and top it with all the regular fixin’s, plus celery salt and pepperoncinis.

Other options including house-made chilli over tater tots, served with aged cheddar, avocado crema and scallions, or buttermilk fried chicken dipper in hot chili oil, served on a butter-toasted Martin’s potato roll with pickles and ‘slaw.

One of the new menu items that may be easiest (read: least-messy, maybe) to eat is the foot-long corn dog, which is all-beef, and comes topped with Buffalo sauce, blue cheese, buttermilk ranch, and scallions.

You’ll also have the option of a variety of poutines, including selections topped with brisket and caramelized onions, or jerk chicken, gouda, and scallions.

Regardless of what you’re craving, make sure you get to the game hungry. Because at least one of these new menu items is sure to hit the spot.
