This massive waterfront restaurant is reopening in the Bluffs this weekend

For 27 years, Bluffers Restaurant has been a destination spot in the Scarborough Bluffs, offering gorgeous views of the water alongside delicious food.

But the space was brought under new ownership in December and has undergone three months of renovations, meaning that the swanky neighbourhood spot was out of commission.

After a soft-opening earlier this spring, the spot is finally officially reopening its doors, just in time for summer.

The updated menu is focused on locally-sourced produce, meats and fine craft beers. You can taste the new flavours starting Saturday, May 4.

The eatery now falls under the ownership of Voula Mantis, who is known for nine other Toronto spots including Santorini’s on the Danforth.

In addition to the open restaurant space, the spot also includes two events spaces for rentals such as weddings, corporate, or special birthdays.

And don’t fret — although the menu has been updated, you’ll still find a major seafood theme with “a Catch of the Day” on throughout the summer. Signature meals include wild jumbo coconut shrimp from Argentina, Grilled salmon, Octopus from Spain, and Gnocchi with scallops.
