The Toronto Blue Jays are just a little over a week out from their home opener, and they’ve got no shortage of food options in the stands.

When Toronto returns to Rogers Centre on March 27 against the Baltimore Orioles, they’ll be trotting out all sorts of new offerings available to fans.

One of the most unique choices comes via the Cotton Candy Fries, pictured above, which is, well, exactly what it sounds like: cotton candy on top of fries.

Another fun feature item is the Plakata skewer, featuring chicken covered in sazon and ancho chipotle aioli and pico de gallo. Named after Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s signature home run cry, it’s available in the Corona Rooftop Patio on the upper deck in right field, where fans can also find a classic jerk chicken skewer.

On the other side of the 500 level in TD Park Social, located in left field, fans can try out mini blueberry or Oreo pancakes.

In centre field of the 100 level at The Stop, fans can find new options for a bao or rice bowl in flavours like crispy pork belly, lemongrass chicken, soy marinated beef, and smoked tempeh.

If you’re just looking for a hot dog, a few fun varieties are joining the fold, with the Mojo hot dog (featuring mojo pork, cilantro crema, and pineapple pico) and crunchy pickle hot dog (featuring pretzel pieces, ballpark mustard, and shoestring pickles) finding their way to Schneider’s Porch and TD Park Social. Meanwhile, a chicken hot dog option is available at Chungchun Rice Dogs vendors.

Other ballpark additions include Korean fried chicken wings available in sweet and spicy or soy garlic sauce, chicken gyozas, Smash Hit Burger and Vegan Smash Hit Burger, and a crispy chicken mash bowl.

And for those who like a classic ballpark snack, Planters Peanuts is now joining the fold as the team’s new peanuts partner.

On the drinks side of things, there are some new cocktails, including four different spritz drinks in classic, mango, guava, and elderflower/lemon flavours. There’s also the black and blue margarita, as well as the Big Leagues Stone Fruit Bourbon, which is a fruity version of an old-fashioned.

Meanwhile, The Stop Slide is a coffee-based cocktail available exclusively at The Stop in the 100 level. There’s also Mike’s Hard Purple Freeze, Nutrl peach, Cutwater lemon drop martini, and whisky sour flavours, all joining the fold.

While we can’t guarantee you’ll have a good time watching the team this season, it’d be hard to go to the ballpark and not find something at the concession stands to enjoy.
