It has already shattered a Major League Baseball record, and it’s still growing.
Tonight’s Toronto Blue Jays 50/50 jackpot has surpassed $800,000, blowing away the previous MLB record of $538,897. The “50/50 from home” raffle will be held virtually of course, with a winner chosen after tonight’s Blue Jays game — the first held at their new home in Buffalo.

Raffle tickets are available for purchase for those age 18 or older in Ontario. All funds raised will support families in Ontario who have beenĀ disproportionately impacted by COVID-19, through the Jays Care Foundation.

The Blue Jays and Miami Marlins begin a two-game series today, with first pitch at 6:37 pm. The game will be held at Sahlen Field in Buffalo, the home of the Blue Jays’ Triple-A affiliate, after the minor league stadium was given a major league upgrade.
