You can skate in your underwear below the Gardiner on December 29

Torontonians are invited to drop their drawers and bid farewell to the year by skating in their knickers this afternoon.

This is a chilly but fun twist on the traditional polar bear dip and welcomes skaters to strip down to their intimates and skate along the Bentway skate trail below the Gardiner Expressway on December 29.

The best part? This fun event is absolutely free and all pre-registered skaters will receive free hot chocolate.

Registration began December 6, but don’t worry, last-minute registrations will still be accepted on the day of the event.

And if you don’t own a pair of skates, the Bentway has skate rentals available onsite.
