More than 50 Beer Store locations to be open across GTA on civic holiday

Good news for those who plan to get their day-drink on during this year’s civic holiday: The Beer Store will have more than 50 locations open across the GTA.

August 3 may still be a few weeks away, but it’s never too early to plan a weekend escape, staycation, or backyard (ahem… balcony?) BBQ with beers abound.

The LCBO tells Daily Hive that on the holiday Monday, locations across Ontario will be closed, however some LCBO Convenience Outlets may observe their regular hours of business where permitted by local municipalities.

You’ll have to call your nearest convenience outlet to clarify whether you’ll be able to stop in for a bottle of wine, but at least with this beer-related news, you can count on stocking up on brews right until the very last minute.
