Auston Matthews already scored 2 goals in his first NHL game - and it's only the end of the 1st period

If you’re not watching the Leafs opening game against Ottawa right now, you probably should be.

The Leafs and Seneators are tied at 2-2 after the first, but more importantly, Leafs’ rookie, and #1 overall pick, Auston Matthews has both of Toronto’s goals. And the second one was hella pretty.

Here’s the first goal:

And the second, which we told you, is just ridiculous. We told you this kid was going to be a star.

Matthews is currently on pace for 492 goals. Like we said, change the damn channel. Now.
