Aritzia is set to reopen several of its Toronto locations this weekend.

According to the popular brand, the decision around when and how to reopen its boutiques has been done thoughtfully on a case by case basis, following the guidance of government and health authorities.

“Aritzia will follow optimal safety standards throughout its boutiques while still delivering a highly personal shopping experience, with a focus on delivering Everyday Luxury,” said the company in a statement.

All of Aritzia’s 96 locations across North America closed on March 16 due to COVID-19; as of May 30th, Aritzia says it will have reopened a total of 34 of its boutiques.

In Toronto, these locations will reopen this weekend:

  • Aritzia Bloor Street – Friday, May 29
  • Aritzia Queen Street – Friday, May 29
  • Aritzia Toronto Premium Outlets – Friday, May 29
  • Aritzia Don Mills – Saturday, May 30

Expect to see in-store health and safety precautions, including reduced capacity, PPE for staff and clients upon request, high temperature steaming of all products tried on in fitting rooms, plexiglass screens, and “new client processes such as pausing hands-free shopping, altering client services, closing off communal seating, limiting fitting room capacity, contactless payment and returns.”

Founded in Vancouver in 1984, Aritzia now has stores in select cities across North America, including Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago.
