Allbirds brings ‘world’s most comfortable shoes’ to Toronto in first global pop up
They’re known as the most comfortable shoes in the world, and now, Allbirds can be found right here in Toronto.
Launched in 2016 by Tim Brown and Joey Zwillinger, the San Francisco-based duo worked to create better shoes in a better way while proving that comfort, design, and sustainability aren’t mutually exclusive.
With no flashy logos or senseless details, Allbirds offers three styles of shoes and two materials for men and women for $135, and Smallbirds for children for $80.
Arguably a favourite, Allbirds’ wool collection uses certified merino wool crafted in one of the world’s finest textile mills outside of Milan. Merino wool is a moisture-wicking, temperature regulating, and breathable material that allows the shoe to be worn with or without socks.
Allbirds’ newest line, Tree, is made from Eucalyptus pulp and is the line’s most sustainable material-to-date.
And Toronto gets to experience these epic shoes in person this summer.
The first-ever international Allbirds pop-up has opened at 700 Queen Street West.
Until August 31, the pop-up features a Toronto-inspired “birdwalk” that includes three different terrains, similar to those found right here in the city, where shoppers can test drive these comfy shoes.
Additionally, in an ode to Canada, Allbirds created three different coloured shoelaces: purple for the Toronto Raptors, blue for Toronto Blue Jays, and red for the Canadian Flag, all of which are available at the store.
Get ready to experience comfort beyond possible in these kicks.
