This Queen West eatery is offering delicious meals for Greek Easter

New to the catering-scene this season is Agora, little sibling of Ossington’s beloved Greek restaurant Mamakas Taverna. Directly across from Trinity Bellwoods, the little spot offers quick and modern Greek grab-and-go goods like peirnili, bougatsa and spanakopita.

And just in time for Greek Easter, which falls on April 28, the eatery has introduced a catering option that will bring their delicious flavours into your home, so you get the mouthwatering eats without the effort.

There are countless catering options to choose from, with breakfast items like strata or chicken wraps for lunch.

But a main draw at this time of year is the Greek Easter package, which is filled to the brim with hearty eats that’ll make setting the table exciting, for once.

Roast Ontario leg of lamb is the star of the show, and the supporting acts are all equally swoon-worthy.

You can tuck into magiritsa soup made with crimini mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, rice and dill, and lemon roasted potatoes topped with oregano and garlic.

There will also be ridiculously delicious dips on deck, like tzatziki, kopanisti, melizanosalata and taramosalata, with, of course, perfectly puffy pita.

And classics are coming up for dessert with an added twist. Like the tsoureki, taken up a notch with chocolate mini eggs on top.

Don’t worry, you can count on baklava too.
