COMMFFEST is a film and arts festival that presents a broad range of local and international films representing current affairs and relevant issues that affect our society. It’s celebrating its 11th year this week!

Free lunchtime Yoga at the Sony Centre continues this week as part of their community programs. Bring your own towel, and register to ensure your spot!

4th Annual PIECE OF MINE Festival

The 4th Annual PIECE OF MINE Festival takes place October 11 to 16. This year’s featured playwrights present a compilation of storylines covering culture, rebellion and avant garde flair, all of which are new works in development by Black playwrights. Culture. Rebellion. Avant Garde.

Dancehall Class

Tom Odell

English singer/songwriter Tom Odell might be known for his single “Another Love,” or his recently released video for “Here I am” which features Kevin Spacey. The talented young musician’s latest studio album Wrong Crowd came out earlier this year, and Odell is now on the road with our lucky stop tonight.
