5 things to do in Toronto today: Tuesday, August 30

Happy Tuesday!

From a free Beyonce dance class – get fierce! – to tequila, there’s a lot happening around town today. And of course, Kanye West is in Toronto – so there’s that. Two nights of Kanye at the ACC begin tonight.

Whatever you get up to (probably the Bey dance class?), have a great Tuesday Toronto!

Twilight Tuesdays

The last of the Twilight Tuesdays takes place tonight. The parkette next to Drake One Fifty will be transformed into a mini night-market, offering gourmet street food, summertime treats, and notable indie musicians.

An Authentic Tequila Tasting

Tuesdays are for tequila and tacos! Tonight, Serving up 6 well-rounded tequila tasters of house-aged blancos, smooth reposados, and top-shelf anejos, this event will provide free bowls of tortilla chips (with Lola’s signature pineapple-habanero salsa) and $2 tacos!

Kanye West: The Saint Pablo Tour

Mr. West is back in Toronto after making a brief appearance at this year’s OVO Fest. Kanye West loves Kanye West – so, this will probably be a fun show. And tickets are still available.

Beginner Beyonce Dance Class

Maybe you’re more of a Bey than a Yeezy. In that case, Union Station and the Undergound Dance Centre got ya tonight. They present a free beginner class for everyone looking to get fierce.

And here it is, the last City Cinema event of the summer. Featuring our beloved Leslie Neilsen in Airplane! and Mel Brooks’ Dracula: Dead and Loving It.
