New Creations Festival: Masterclass with Kronos Quartet

As part of Fifty for the Future: The Kronos Learning Repertoire project, the Kronos Quartet will lead three quartet masterclasses with members of the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Glenn Gould School at The Royal Conservatory of Music. Student quartets will perform works commissioned for Kronos through the project, and all masterclasses are fully open to the public.

Toronto: Tributes and Tributaries Film and Video Festival 

What’s the only thing a true Torontonian loves more than a film festival? A free film festival, obviously! Toronto Tributes and Tributaries will be showing work by some of our city’s pioneering filmmakers from the 70s and 80s.

Beer, Bacon & Beats

Rashers hosts this new event series geared towards “unapologetic carnivore[s] and craft beer connoisseur[s].” For this first instalment, the bacon-only sandwich makers are partnering with Great Lakes Brewery to offer one-of-a-kind bacon dishes paired with unique craft beers.
