Washington state parks and wildlife areas closed until April 30

Mar 24 2020, 11:23 pm

In response to Governor Jay Inslee’s “stay home, stay healthy” order, Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission and the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife announced the temporary closure of all state-managed parks, wildlife areas, and water areas beginning on Wednesday, March 25.

Those looking to enjoy the parks will be met with closed entrance gates and suspended public services until April 30.

This announcement comes just a few days after the closure of all state campgrounds as a way to help reduce the spread of coronavirus.
