Washington has the eighth-lowest rate of average daily COVID-19 cases in the country as of Wednesday, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Washington displayed an average of 33.6 cases per 100,000 daily over the past seven days, up from 18.8 from the previous weekend.
Arizona, the state leading the way with the highest rate of daily cases, displayed at 118.3 cases per 100,000. Over the weekend, California had the highest rate of cases per 100,000 over the past seven days.

As of Tuesday, 425,900 doses of the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines have been distributed around Washington State.
Out of these doses, over 110,225 have been administered since mid-December.
Washington State has currently seen 258,767 COVID-19 cases and 3,541 deaths.
