Washington reports 1,168 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend

The Washington government has revealed that the state’s COVID-19-related death toll is 4,857 after announcing 35 new deaths since Friday afternoon.

According to the Washington State Department of Health website, there have been 1,168 new known cases of coronavirus reported over the past weekend.

This brings the state’s confirmed total to 334,962 with 495 current hospitalizations, 55 of whom are intubated.

Negative test results data from November 21 to 30, 2020, are incomplete. Thus, negative test results and percent positivity for that period should be interpreted with caution.

The United States’ total death toll now sits at 512,526.
