Washington reports over 2,000 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours

The Washington government has revealed that the state’s COVID-19-related death toll is 3,369 after announcing 174 new deaths since Monday afternoon. (Today’s death data include a backlog of roughly 200 cases that were previously unreported due to a processing issue.)

According to the Washington State Department of Health website, there have been 2,174 new known cases of coronavirus reported in the past 24 hours.

This brings the state’s confirmed total to 240,846 with 1,158 current hospitalizations, 108 of whom are intubated.

The United States’ total death toll now sits at 346,442.
