Washington reports over 2,500 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours

The Washington government has revealed that the state’s COVID-19-related death toll is 2,571 after announcing 23 new deaths since Monday afternoon.

According to the Washington State Department of Health Website, there have been 2,589 new known cases of coronavirus reported in the last 24 hours.

This brings the state’s confirmed total to 134,121 with 631 current hospitalizations, 87 of which are intubated.

The United States’ total death toll now sits at 254,121.
