Washington reports nearly 2,000 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours

The Washington government has revealed that the state’s COVID-19-related death toll is 2,603 after announcing 11 new deaths since Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Washington State Department of Health Website, there have been 1,987 new known cases of coronavirus reported in the last 24 hours.

This brings the state’s confirmed total to 137,411 with 715 current hospitalizations, 94 of which are intubated.

The United States’ total death toll now sits at 258,235.
