Washington confirms 15 more coronavirus deaths as cases near 25,000

The Washington government revealed that the state’s COVID-19-related death toll has reached 1,176 after announcing 15 more deaths since Monday afternoon.

According to the Washington State Department of Health Website, there have been 313 new known cases of coronavirus reported in the last 24 hours.

This brings the state’s confirmed total to 24,354, with 238 hospitalizations, 92 of which are intubated.

Currently, 390,700 tests (approximately 94% of all coronavirus tests in the state) have turned up negative.

The United States’ total death toll now sits at 114,116.
