Washington reports over 1,300 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours

The Washington government has revealed that the state’s COVID-19-related death toll is 4,167 after announcing 19 new deaths since Monday afternoon.

According to the Washington State Department of Health website, there have been 1,341 new known cases of coronavirus reported in the past 24 hours.

Negative test results data from November 21-30, 2020, and January 5 through today, are incomplete. Thus, negative test results and percent positivity should be interpreted with caution.

This brings the state’s confirmed total to 303,482 with 799 current hospitalizations, 100 of whom are intubated.

The United States’ total death toll now sits at 435,452.
