Washington reports over 1,800 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours

The Washington government has revealed that the state’s COVID-19-related death toll is 3,789 after announcing 90 new deaths since Monday afternoon.

According to the Washington State Department of Health website, there have been 1,858 new known cases of coronavirus reported in the past 24 hours.

Total case counts may include up to 550 duplicates, and negative test results data is incomplete from November 21 to 30, 2020, and December 29 through today.

This brings the state’s confirmed total to 278,544 with 978 current hospitalizations, 111 of whom are intubated.

The United States’ total death toll now sits at 389,425.
