Washington reports nearly 2,500 coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

The Washington government has revealed that the state’s COVID-19-related death toll is 3,016 after announcing 49 new deaths since Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Washington State Department of Health website, there have been 2,536 new known cases of coronavirus reported in the last 24 hours.
This brings the state’s confirmed total to 189,863 with 1,047 current hospitalizations, 144 of whom are intubated.
The United States’ total death toll now sits at 296,620.
