The Washington government has revealed that the state’s COVID-19-related death toll has reached 1,809 after announcing 24 more deaths since Monday afternoon.
According to the Washington State Department of Health Website, there have been 543 new known cases of coronavirus reported in the last 24 hours.
This brings the state’s confirmed total to 68,264 with 375 current hospitalizations, 43 of which are intubated.
The Department of Health has not disclosed how many tests have been administered in the past 24 hours, as it is working on “new methodology for reporting testing.”
The United States’ total death toll now sits at 174,920.
