Washington confirms under 300 coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours

The Washington government has revealed that the state’s COVID-19-related death toll has reached 1,785 after announcing four more deaths since Sunday afternoon.

According to the Washington State Department of Health Website, there have been 260 new known cases of coronavirus reported in the last 24 hours.

This brings the state’s confirmed total to 67,721 with 394 current hospitalizations, 39 of which are intubated.

The Department of Health has not disclosed how many tests have been administered in the past 24 hours, as it is working on “new methodology for reporting testing.”

The United States’ total death toll now sits at 173,655.
