The Toronto Raptors arrived to the NBA bubble in style today, rolling up to their hotel at Disney World in Orlando in Raptors-branded buses with “Black Lives Matter” written on the side.

The Raptors, who had been training at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, took a two-hour bus ride to get there.

All players, coaches, and staff will now be required to quarantine for approximately 36 hours while they wait for test results. This won’t be a new experience for Raptors players, who were already being tested regularly, as Serge Ibaka demonstrated on TikTok.

Players from the 22 competing teams are staying at three different hotels on the Disney World property.

It’ll be interesting to see what kind of food options Raptors players will be treated to, as there have been some mixed reviews so far from players on other teams who arrived to Orlando in the last couple of days.

Games will be played at one of three courts at Disney’s ESPN Wide of Sports complex, without fans in attendance.

The Raptors play their first “scrimmage” game in 15 days, against the Houston Rockets on July 24. They’ll also play the Portland Trail Blazers (July 26) and Phoenix Suns (July 28) before playing games that count, starting with LeBron James and the LA Lakers on August 1.
