Small business spotlight: wear your pride on your sleeve with eTc Tacoma

Jul 17 2020, 6:40 pm

Partially a blog and partially a streetwear label, eTc Tacoma has managed to find the perfect balance between friend and vendor.

Akunna Amaefule has managed to captivate his following through his stylish and trendy tees — many of which play off vintage designs — and through his knowledge of street style and happenings in the music industry.

The company also used their platform to raise awareness towards various causes, most recently the fight against systemic racism. While raising $24,000 towards the Manuel Ellis and Said Joaquin families, the company released a statement saying, “[The] spirit of streetwear rarewear is messaging!! If you’re not using your voice as a company to show what side you stand on then we have to assume you’re an OPP fr fr and NOT a part of the rarewear community.”
