Seattle Parks and Recreation facilities release updated holiday schedules

You may have to change up a few of your holiday plans, as the Seattle Parks and Recreation Department has modified the schedules of some of their facilities.

Those affected include several gardens, environmental learning centers, pools, community centers, and teen centers.

All community and teen centers will close at 6 pm on December 24 and December 31. The centers will remain closed on December 25 and January 1.

All community pools will close at 3 pm on December 24 and December 31 and remain closed on December 25 and January 1.

Only Camp Long and Discovery Park Environmental Learning Centers will close at 6 pm on December 24 and December 31, while all Environmental Learning Centers will be closed on December 25 and January 1.

All Small Craft Centers are closed on December 24, 25, 31, and January 1.

The Amy Yee Tennis Center will open at 7 am and close at 1 pm on December 24 and remain open from 7 am to 3 pm on December 31. It will be closed all day on December 25 and January 1.

All golf courses will close at 2 pm on December 24 and at 6 pm on December 31. They will be closed on December 25, but open for regular hours on January 1.

Finally, Kubota Garden will remain open throughout the holidays, and the Volunteer Park Conservatory maintains special holiday hours listed online.
