Stunning video footage of last night's giant supermoon over Seattle

If you looked up into the sky last night, you’d probably noticed that the moon looked different than usual.

For one thing, it was glowing brightly. It was also full, huge, and perfectly round.

Sigma Sreedharan, a Seattle-based photographer, managed to perfectly capture the moonrise — a shot that she’d been planning for a while.

“The trip to this spot [in Bainbridge Island] is a 50-minute ferry ride and 20-minute car ride from my home, so yes a bit of planning went into this,” she told Daily Hive.

Sigma’s travel was well worth it, as she captured the beautiful city skyline along with a bonus ferry traveling across the water.
