With so many Seattleites staying home, events and activities have started to follow suit.

If you decide to go outside this weekend, do follow physical distancing guidelines and avoid contact with others as much as possible.

What: Though the iconic sightseeing structure remains closed, you can now embark on a virtual visit to the top of the Space Needle and check out 360-degree views from the comfort of your couch. Cameras situated around the Space Needle allow visitors to check on the view at all times of the day and enjoy 24-hour time-lapses of the city.

Capitol Hill Arts District Streaming Festival

What: Celebrate the creativity of Capitol Hill by watching daily livestreams and donating to local artists in need. Although all events are free, the Capitol Hill Arts Fund is offering “festival passes” by donation — all donations go to the COVID-19 Artist Trust Relief Fund to support individual artists. Direct donations to the presenting arts organizations and individuals are also encouraged. All programs will be streaming online at Northwest Film Forum’s Facebook page.
