Seattle’s highly anticipated new Korean BBQ spot, Meet KBBQ, has finally revealed to the public that they’ll be opening on February 11.

Brought to us by Chef Heong Soon Park, owner of the highly celebrated Chan Seattle, the restaurant will be the newest addition to Capitol Hill’s growing culinary scene.

When you walk into the premium KBBQ joint, you’ll first notice a large wood-fired grill topped with hefty marinated meats. The BBQ joint prides itself on serving only premium cuts of meat such as prime Angus, American wagyu beef, and kurobuta pork alongside seasonal custom sauces.

Unlike most Korean BBQ spots, all of the meats will be cooked by chefs and served to diners at their tables. The menu will include traditional Korean dishes as well as modern takes, including Korean-style beef carpaccio, beef steak tartare, wagyu bibimbap, and Korean fried chicken wings.

Be sure to pop by during happy hour, from 4 to 6 pm daily. The restaurant will be home to a full-service bar with both Korean and local beer, a Pacific Northwest-centric wine list, and specialty Korean “Kocktails” made with a wide array of Soju and spirits.
