Macklemore and Foo Fighters join others in a virtual benefit concert this weekend

In a bid to raise awareness for the closure of independent music venues, the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) is partnering with YouTube for a three-day virtual music festival to #SaveOurStages.

The show features big names including Miley Cyrus, Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews, and more.

The three-day festival is taking place through YouTube and urges people to contact congress instead of paying — although, donations are still accepted.

The show begins at 5 pm on October 16, featuring Alex Benjamin, Finneas, Sebastián Yatra, Dizzy Fae, Macklemore, YG, G-Easy, Marshmello, and Demi Lovato, and Dillon Francis.

Each performer will be playing out of a local venue, and Seattle’s own Neumos will be on display during Macklemore’s set.

Saturdays shows start at 1 pm, and Sunday’s begin at 2.
