Before the COVID-19 pandemic, it was normal to head out to your local Sunday farmers’ market, pick up goods, and enjoy the fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats.
Along with helping out our locally owned restaurants, don’t forget about your local farmers and buy direct. With Washington State shutting down all gatherings over 50 people, local farmers in Seattle shouldn’t be forgotten.
In addition to buying from the seven farms below, you can also donate to The Good Farmer Fund, which assists Seattle farms in crisis, or take an online survey to help local farmers gather an understanding if operating community drop points or deliveries is feasible.
