There’s nothing better than boating during a lovely summer day. Well, besides hopping into a hot tub at night.

Thanks to Hot Tub Boats on Lake Union, you can now combine the two while soaking in the sea-nery of Seattle.

Arising out of a desire to install a hot tub onto his houseboat, shipwright Adam Karpenske “put his mind to work on how he could craft a vessel that would stay hot, while still maintaining a sleek style.” A year later, the hot tub boat was created.

Each boat is custom built in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle and comes with a large hot tub, easy to use joystick navigation, Bluetooth speakers, and storage space for food and drinks.

Due to the pandemic, reservations must be made online prior to arrival. The company has reduced its rental times so that no groups overlap in the facility. In addition, each boat will be thoroughly washed with chlorine and eco-friendly soaps after each trip.
