King County is hiring registered nurses for mobile coronavirus test sites

With COVID-19 cases continuously increasing in Washington, the Seattle and King County COVID-19 Mobile Assessment Team (MAT) is looking for registered nurses to join their team.

The MAT is responsible for providing coronavirus testing to those at high risk of severe illness who are unable to access testing at a hospital or clinic. Many of those tested include residents of supportive housing programs, behavioral health residential programs, shelters, and assisted living facilities.

Those interested in applying for the position must have experience collecting oropharyngeal, nasopharyngeal, mid-turbinate, and/pr anterior nares swabs; be able to provide crisis intervention and de-escalation with high risk and special needs populations; have the ability to clearly and effectively communicate; and be a current Washington State Registered Nurse in good standing.
