Instagram launches new live fundraising for non-profits

Put your social media status to good use!
On Tuesday, Instagram rolled out a new feature that allows users to fundraise for a registered non-profit organization while livestreaming.

To start a Live fundraiser, tap the camera in the top left of the app or swipe right on Feed. Then, tap Live at the bottom of the screen, select the Fundraiser option, and choose a non-profit to support.
During your Live broadcast, you’ll be able to see how many people are supporting your fundraiser and the amount of money raised. You’ll also be able to see a breakdown of donors and individual contributions.
Those who’ve donated will unlock a new “I Donated” sticker to show off the fact that they contributed.
