What to eat in and around Seattle today: 9th and Hennepin

Sep 16 2020, 8:25 pm

9th and Hennepin was a drunk thought from 20 years ago that’s come to life.

What began as a small booth serving hot, fried-to-order doughnuts at the Capitol Hill Farmer’s Market every Sunday has since blossomed into a regular pop-up shop on Delridge Way.

Each tasty doughnut is always served piping hot and fresh out of the fryer.

Flavors change weekly and include local ingredients. Last week’s doughnuts included the huckleberry cake doughnut, honey cake donut, a filled brioche, raspberry pudding, and vanilla bean glaze doughnut, as well as fig fritter with Bartlett pear glaze.
